A comment and question on the cable strands
I am very
impressed. You mailed it on Friday, I have the
cable set
here on Monday. I am equally impressed
with the quality of the handles and the ease of cable changeover.
Your product may be a bit more expensive than the --- cable set, but
it is a fine product.
I am curious as to what the resistance
level rating is for each of the cable strands?
Thanks, K
Dear K,
The resistance on the cable increases the
more it is stretched, which is why using cables creates a different
strength than using weights. We don't have a resistance level rating
for our cables. Most women cannot use more than one cable. Most men
cannot use more than five. Sorry this isn't an exact number for you
but hopefully, it will give you an idea.
For example, if you are using two cables
and then finally after three months can use three cables, you will
have progressed in strength. We know one man who could only use one
to start with. When he has the capability to use two, he has
increased his strength quite substantially. We also have customers
that use 7 cables.
If you have access to a spring-loaded
scale, it will give you some idea of the cable's resistance level at
a certain length. The longer your arms are, the higher the
resistance will be as the cable strand stretches to your maximum
reach.
Sincerely,
Dianne Miller
