1. I can hardly afford the coconut
milk as I am taking a full load at school and no job; so buying any
protein supplements or the beef liver you suggest is out of the
question for me. I wondered if there was any way that I could get
the protein I need in a more common food that we have around the
house. I am hesitant to eat any eggs with all the saturated fat...
as one can of coconut milk already contains 280% of the daily RDA of
saturated fat. Sometimes I consume two cans a day (560%). I'm
wondering if that much saturated fat is safe? So any advice on that
would be good.
2. Does the pineapple in the drink
concoction have a special purpose other than flavoring the drink?
I've just been combining one can of coconut milk with 2 bananas and
drinking it with my meal.
3. Is combining fats and
carbohydrates a good way to gain weight?
4. Last question....Is it safe to
be eating liver? It seems to me that it wouldn't be healthy to eat
one of the body's filters. But I know nothing about it.
I would appreciate any advice about the above
questions. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Andy
Andy,
1. Try cooked brown rice with your coconut
milk.
2. The enzymes in pineapple acts as a
digestive aid.
3. Yes, see # 1.
4. Yes, the liver filters toxins, it
doesn't store them.

Note: The answer to number 3 needs one more
comment. Carbohydrates from unrefined food (such as brown
rice) is what Mike is referring to. He doesn't mean the carbs from
doughnuts, cakes, cookies, etc..--Dianne Miller
